We bring together a collective of boutique producers, regenerative farms, and artisan makers from the Riemland region. We curate and supply wholesome meats, fresh produce, and farmhouse favourites — rooted in tradition, sustainability, and care for people.

We realised this wasn't just a bad restaurant experience; it was the new normal. We’ve all been conditioned to accept meat that’s been stripped of its flavour, pumped with brine, and mass-produced in a system that puts profit over health and quality.


It wasn't until a simple meal with my husband that we remembered what real meat tasted like. The memory of home-cooked meals in Petrus Steyn, where the meat had a flavour all its own, sparked a question: What if we could bring that back? This wasn't just about taste. We began to research and realised that the flavour was a sign of something deeper—something healthier. We discovered regenerative farming, a process that nurtures the land and results in meat that is not only delicious but genuinely nourishing.


This led us to the farmers who are doing it right. The honest, ethical people of the Free State who are committed to a different way of doing things. We founded Riemland Meat as a bridge between their integrity and your table. We don't just sell meat; we are curators of exceptional, regenerative meat—a humble privilege we take very seriously.


Not only that, but we’ve built relationships with farmers who share our vision:

 We source from selected farmers in the Free State for regenerative beef and chicken that are so rich in flavour, you'll be surprised by how satisfying a single serving can be. Our truly free-range Free State lamb and mutton are raised without hormones or additives, providing a distinctive taste.

We source from farmers who promote healthier soil which means more nutrient-dense grass, which results in meat that is even richer in essential nutrients like vitamins A, D, E and K, along with essential minerals such as Zinc, iron and magnesium. The nutrient density of the grasses our animals feed on translates into meat with additional health benefits, such as anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties, as well as more bioavailable (easily absorbed) nutrients compared to standard grass fed meat.
